Sony: Voldoende PS4 op voorraad tijdens feestdagen

Inmiddels is de nieuwe Playstation 4 al in een aantal landen verkrijgbaar, in Nederland vanaf 29 november. Inmiddels is de nieuwe console in Nederland en Europa volledig uitverkocht in de eerste levering. Als je de nieuwe console nu besteld moet je uiteraard langer wachten. De wachttijd voor een PS4 uit de tweede lading lijkt echter wel mee te vallen volgens Andrew House van Sony. Tegenover de website Gameinformer laat hij weten dat ze momenteel hun best doen op de Playstation 4 goed op voorraad te krijgen. De PlayStation 4 is vanaf 29 november beschikbaar in Europa voor gamers die de console op tijd in de pre-order besteld hebben

Hij verwacht zelfs dat de PlayStation 4 tijdens de feestdagen ‘goed’ op voorraad zal zijn, en dat iedereen die nu een PS4 besteld nog vóór kerst zijn of haar PlayStation 4 ontvangt. Andrew House van Sony laat het volgende weten:

“You try to strike a balance, particularly for us with such a strong brand in all the European countries and across the Middle East. We are ensuring that we have the broadest reach to ensure that people are satisfied, especially when they’ve been loyal to brand for so long. On the other hand, we’re not engendering frustration by having a shortage of supply. I think through the holiday season that we’ll be in good supply,”
